Abstract

En el contexto actual de la Investigación Educativa, el análisis bibliométrico emerge como una herramienta esencial para comprender las tendencias, patrones y dinámicas de producción científica en esta disciplina. La necesidad de sintetizar y evaluar la ingente cantidad de literatura existente en educación ha llevado a la adopción creciente de enfoques bibliométricos, que permiten identificar áreas de interés, investigadores prominentes y evolución temporal de temas. Para este estudio, se llevó a cabo un análisis bibliométrico exhaustivo, utilizando técnicas cuantitativas para analizar una amplia muestra de artículos académicos en el campo de la educación. Se recopilaron datos bibliográficos de diversas bases de datos académicas, como Web of Science y Scopus, y se aplicaron criterios de inclusión para seleccionar los artículos relevantes para el análisis. Los hallazgos revelaron un aumento significativo en el uso de enfoques metodológicos mixtos en la Investigación Educativa, lo que sugiere una tendencia hacia la integración de métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos para abordar preguntas de investigación complejas. Además, se observó un incremento en la colaboración internacional entre investigadores en el campo de la educación, destacando la naturaleza cada vez más globalizada de la investigación en este ámbito. Aunque el análisis bibliométrico ofrece importantes perspectivas sobre la producción científica en educación, es crucial reconocer sus posibles limitaciones, como la dependencia de bases de datos específicas y los sesgos inherentes a la selección de estudios. Sin embargo, a pesar de estas limitaciones, el análisis bibliométrico sigue siendo una herramienta valiosa para investigadores y profesionales de la educación, proporcionando información clave para la toma de decisiones informadas y la identificación de áreas de investigación prioritarias.
