Abstract

UTILITIC is an educative programme, aimed at improving digital skills in Young people, who are attending primary and secondary schools. This programme has been conceived by CITA and was implemented between January and May 2014, at schools of Peñaranda de Bracamonte in Salamanca (Spain). The implementation of this programme has been monitored by a group of researchers who have assessed the impact of the UTILITIC on the participants. A mixed form of research has been carried out to evaluate the skills of the participants before and after their participation in the programme. The following has been assessed: knowledge and the use about Web 2.0 and the skills of researching information, critical evaluation of the resources and autonomy.
