During the last years we are assisting to a continuous and progressive increment in the number of elder population that will grow exponentially in the future, not only in relation with whole population but also in absolute numbers. According to the United Nations forecast and attending to Intermediate-Fertility theories, everywhere around the world, the elder population will globally increase from 162% in 1990 to 197% in 2025. Unless proper measures will be adopted by governments to face the problem of populations growth and aging, this could result a triggered bomb announcing a great disaster in the next few decades. Disengagement Theorys supporters illustrate that it occurs irreversibly in cases of extreme poverty and also in old age by different means. When these two conditions merge together, the issue acquires a socially tragic aspect hard to solve. A deprived society is getting away from development rates: a deprived and aged society has no hope.
