Resumen

It is shown the foundations for a Socio–psychological Theory of Knowledge, taking as basis Marx’s and Wittgenstein’s works. It’s considered that these authors are compatible each other because they point out the public/ social and pragmatic character of language. This article’s guideline is a wittgensteinian idea: "language games send us to a form of life". In order to give a sociological re–interpretation to this sentence, we can appeal Marx, who locates the origins of language and consciousness in the social praxis. So, we can say with Marx that knowledge is socially conditioned and that different social groups hold different forms of thought. Finally, empirical and psychosocial basis that support these proposals are presented.
