Abstract
The influence of different circumstances happened in the last years (the technological advances, the coexistence of the newspaper with audio-visual and electronic media, the sociocultural changes or the action of the different aesthetic movements) has caused the evolution of a great number of newspapers towards the denominated "journalism of services", whose more important formal characteristics are represented by the denominated "informative hyperfragmentation". This article tries to to analyze the conceptual and visual causes that explain this transformation, as well as the more important formal and visual attributes of these new models of written press.
