Abstract

The paper analyzes the script of the Goya winning movie in 2016, Tarde para la ira, based on the original written material and an in-depth interview with one of the two co-writers, the psychologist David Pulido. The analysis addresses, first, to the development process, I consider the script as a tool that facilitates the conversion of written material into images: work method used, style and chosen format and evolution according to the different versions. A second part is dive into the narrative deconstruction of the story that the script contains, with emphasis on some keys: the plot structure, the thematic proposal, the mold dramatic, the psychology of the characters and the use of the point of view.
