Abstract
This article examines how important multitask work is for journalists in current TV newsrooms and also aims to discuss which kind of education should be completed by these practitioners.To that purpose, we provide a definition for the Integrated System of Digital News Production and explore its influence in the production routines of the different departments that participate in the making of a news programme: News Management,News Production,Newsmaking and News Editing.This article stresses the newsroom management, as nowadays the newsroom is experiencing important changes due to the increased number of tasks required from journalists (i.e. recording and editing news).
