Abstract
In order to look closer to the real development of democracy, we shall analyze whether certain communication groups have been favored by the corresponding government.We will try to assess this kind of ad hoc favoritism, as well as the payback coming from the media. The periods of government under González and Zapatero (both sharing the same political ideology) will be used as a frame for this analysis of the synergies between the media and the political arena.
