Abstract

Football is the most practiced sport with the greatest repercussion in Spain, especially in men, but not in women (Pérez et al., 2018). Every day, there are more women and girls who play football, hence the importance to study formative football by sex. Thus, Peñaloza et al., (2013) define this concept as the reflection of desire and the resolution to resist in sports effort during a certain period of time. Therefore, knowing the degree of current and future sports commitment en young players, can lead to take different guidelines to avoid the inactivity, improve sports promotion and burnout in sport, depending on the sex of the players.
