Abstract

The Archive of the Pontifical University of Salamanca (UPSA) keeps and preserves historical documentation from medieval times. The Archive of Spanish Catholic Action (A.C.E.), which is kept there, is a first-rate reference point for the study of social movements and the Church in Spanish society in our most recent history. This article shows the great richness and diversity of its archival holdings and the great research possibilities it offers. The technical archival work carried out on these collections facilitates their consultation by general users and specialized researchers, contributing to the dissemination of this documentary heritage.
