Abstract

The advance in the technological development of the virtual reality has allowed the positioning in the audiovisual panorama of a new way to record and to reproduce contents: Video 360º. This technology brings attractive and new features that media are trying to include in their informational proposals. However, as in the beginning of the use of other technologies, a mere transfer of ideas and strategies is taking place that hardly takes into account the peculiarities of this new form of communication. The absence of the point of view of the sender, the depth of field, the inability to discriminate framing sizes or the presence of sound at all distances needs a reflection on what and how audiovisual information content can be produced to be reproduced from immersive way. This paper presents what are today these neophyte practices in the audiovisual field and propose possible choices to improve the communicative efficiency of audiovisual production in 360º.
