Abstract
Today we the expectancy of life is such that in most developed countries, there has been a reversal of the population pyramid (Pérez-Díaz, 2005). Our seniors are an ever more conscious to improving their quality of life, worrying about improving both the cognitive, and social and emotional, stressing more and more interest in training throughout the life cycle. In Spain echoed this demand the universities, creating in the 90’s the first university programs for seniors (PUM) (Bru, 2002) that this group offered the opportunity to be active in the field social and cultural, acting directly on a better quality of life. In this paper we show the data of the study with 74 students on satisfaction with these programs, in particular, which takes place at the Miguel Hernández University and their relationship to the results of the assessment mood carried through Tridimensional Questionnaire for Depression (Jiménez-García, Miguel-Tobal & Cano-Vindel, 1996)
